Gear up for online/offline (if possible) battles in two formats: Traditional (Single and Teams) and Wheel Tournament (5v5 teams). The action starts the last week of January and spans FIVE intense weeks, with TWO tournaments each week! YOU vote the Games and WE set the Arena.
Tournament Start Time: The tournaments will begin at 8:00 PM EST.
Format: Matches will follow a 1v1 (Fighting Traditional Tourney) or 5v5 format with a best 3 out of 5 win structure. Teams must win either 3 full matches or achieve the best-of-five outcome to proceed.
Wheel Tournament Forfeits (FF): Each team is allowed 1 FF per match. FFs do not count as a full match loss but will be marked as a point for the opposing team in case of a tie. FFs must be declared before the match starts, and lineups are locked.
Game Participation: If a team member does not own a game, the team must either FF or play with one less player. For Wheel matches each gamer must play before lineups reset. Ex. if the current game is 3v3, the two gamers sitting out must play in the next match.
Streaming and Recording: Each team must have at least one player streaming or recording their matches. Evidence from these streams or recordings will be required in case of disputes.
Discord Requirement: All players must join the official tournament Discord server and share their screens or streams as required. (Note: Lag may affect gameplay.) Setup Time: Teams will have 5 minutes between games to set up their team lobby or declare a FF. Time Limit: Matches are limited to 1 hour.
Game Categories: Racers, strategy games, and sports games will have different rules than fighters and shooters to account for varying participation levels. These categories will feature 2 games each, and the total set will include 1 game from the other categories for a total of 6 games.
DISPUTE RULES
Game Master Review: In case of a dispute, the issue will be reviewed by an approved Game Master. The approved Game Masters for this tournament are:
Dispute Procedure: Teams will have a total of 15 minutes (7.5 minutes per team) to present their case to the Game Master. The original outcome will stand if no concrete evidence (stream or recorded video) is presented.
Evidence Requirement: Teams or players involved in a dispute must provide a recorded video or stream as evidence. Without valid evidence, the Game Master’s decision will be final.
SUPPLEMENTAL RULES
Player Conduct: Players must maintain professional behavior throughout the tournament. No physical or verbal abuse toward players or Game Masters is permitted. Violations will result in forfeits or removal from the event.
Equipment and Accounts: No modded equipment or accounts providing competitive advantages are allowed. All accounts must have equal DLCs/items if personal accounts are used.
Penalties: Infractions such as pausing during gameplay, using banned items, or manipulating game time will result in forfeits. Improper setup or failure to adhere to the setup time will incur forced forfeits.
