SEASON 9

OUR MISSION

Changing the Game by Engineering Great Futures in Tech for OUR Youth.

Focused on communities of color, the Unanimous Games Education curriculum is designed to create a pipeline of workforce ready talent from underrepresented communities. We use gaming to develop critical thinking, career, and life readiness to students in underserved communities.

Our Goals

Talent Development

Build a digital talent pipeline of students from pre-teens to adults.

Skills Development

Provide the skills necessary to enter technology jobs.

Cultural Development

Develop culturally responsible professionals and entrepreneurs.

Taking On the Challenge
of Empowering a Generation

A lack of cultural connection in the classroom can significantly impact students’ engagement, especially in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) subjects. When students do not see their cultural backgrounds reflected in the curriculum, teaching methods, or classroom environment, they may feel disconnected or alienated, which can lead to a decreased interest in these vital subjects.

This disconnection can result in students feeling that STEM is irrelevant to their lives or that they do not belong in these fields.

The digital racial tech gap is widening at an alarming rate, and if current trends continue, more than half of the Black and Hispanic population could be underprepared for 86% of jobs by 2045.

This growing disparity is rooted in systemic inequities, such as unequal access to quality education, technology, and resources, which hinder these communities from acquiring the necessary digital skills and knowledge to thrive in an increasingly tech-driven economy.

Without targeted interventions to close this gap, we risk leaving a large segment of the population behind, with profound implications for the future workforce and the overall economy.

Creating Classrooms
